...especially when you're coughing for about a week. And when you have to take disgusting tasting Nyquil crud before bed. Mmm mmm mmm...yummmy...Now, it was nice to miss school and swim practice, until it bit me in the butt on Friday. Yup, my pre-algebra teacher emailed my dad the weeks assinments. So, I had to get all of those done before this morning. AND...I missed the Spell Bowl. I would have gotten to compete too...that's what really stinks. Yet at the same time, I'm so proud of my teammates, they got second in their division!

Anyway, I had a really un-Abby moment today in pre-algebra. I had to take a quiz that they had taken last week, and I was thinking, "Sure, no sweat, I know this stuff." And actually, the first part of the quiz wasn't that bad, and then...I FORGOT. For the longest time, I sat there, staring at the paper, freaking out and trying to remember what to do at the same time. Dood...I was trying to remember how to turn fractions into decimals. I first learned how to do that in FIFTH GRADE. It also happened again when it was the other way around...turning decimals into fractions. I eventually remembered, so it's all good now.

I think I have poet's block. Not writer's block in general; I can still think of stuff for prose, but with poetry, it's...nothing. The thing with prose is that I'm not really thinking of any new ideas. I have ideas that seem promising that I came up with a while ago, but I'm too lazy to do anything with them. Ugh. I get blocks too often.

On a happier note, I went to see New Moon on Friday with my mom and a couple of her friends. It was fun, and the movie was good. However, you probably wouldn't like it if shirtless guys bore you. Just sayin'. (There were actually some girls that screamed when Taylor Lautner took off his shirt, or was already shirtless. It was kinda funny.)
